Aspen Valley Hospital has a comprehensive oncology program with a board-certified oncologist on staff and a team of nurses specially trained in chemotherapy. Nationally recognized chemotherapeutic protocols are followed for the outpatient services offered. In addition, Aspen Valley Hospital works closely with other hospitals and medical centers to provide a full range of care, allowing the patient to receive services both here in Aspen and elsewhere as indicated.

Aspen Valley Hospital's infusion center also provides IV therapy for patients suffering from acute illnesses that require antibiotic therapy, as well as treatments for chronic diseases such as multiple sclerosis, osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and Crohn's disease.
